Cookie Notice

Last updated September 19, 2026

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on mylifttracker.com. It goes with our Privacy Policy.

Change your choice

Only strictly necessary cookies are set unless you allow analytics, and you can change your mind at any time.

Where analytics runs

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only load on our public pages: the homepage, features, FAQ, about, invite request, sign-in, sign-up and legal pages. They never load inside the signed-in app, so they never see your workouts, body measurements or anything else you log.

How we count visits

Google Analytics loads on our public pages for every visitor. Unless you accept analytics, it runs with storage switched off. It writes nothing to your device, creates no identifier, and can't tell that two page views came from the same person. What Google gets is an anonymous signal that a page was viewed, which it uses to estimate how many people visited.

If you accept analytics, it sets the cookies listed below and measures visits in the usual way. We don't use its advertising features, and we remove email addresses and invite codes from page addresses before anything is sent.

Microsoft Clarity has no anonymous mode. It only loads after you accept analytics.

Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Analytics is switched off automatically, even if you accepted it earlier, and we won't ask you about cookies. You can still turn analytics on yourself. The anonymous visit signal described above can continue, because it stores nothing and identifies no one.

Most browsers also have a Do-Not-Track (DNT) setting. There's no agreed standard for how websites should respond to it, so we don't act on DNT. GPC is the signal we act on.

Analytics

Google Analytics cookies and Microsoft Clarity recordings on our public pages, so we can see what's working. Never inside the app.

Analytics cookies and storage
NameProviderPurposeLasts
_ga, _ga_GC12RD188YGoogle AnalyticsCount visits and show which public pages people use. Only written after you accept analytics. Without that, Google Analytics still loads on public pages but writes nothing to your device.2 years
_clck, _clskMicrosoft ClarityHeatmaps and recordings of how people use our public pages. _clck holds a random ID for this site and _clsk links the pages of one visit. Only after you accept analytics._clck 1 year; _clsk 1 day
MUID, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, SMMicrosoft (clarity.ms)Set by Microsoft on its own domain when Clarity runs, to recognize a browser across sites that use Clarity. Microsoft also uses MUID for advertising. We can stop these being set, but can't delete ones already there, so clear them in your browser.ANONCHK 10 minutes; MR 7 days; SM until you close your browser; CLID and MUID 1 year

Exercise videos

Some exercises in the app link to demonstration videos on YouTube, Vimeo or another site. Wherever the app shows one of those exercises, its YouTube preview image loads from YouTube. A video itself only loads when you press play, and YouTube videos play from youtube-nocookie.com, which doesn't set cookies until you play. Once a video plays, YouTube or Vimeo may set their own cookies under their policies.

Changing your mind

Turn analytics off whenever you like. “Reject all” sits next to “Accept all” wherever we ask. When you turn it off, we delete the analytics cookies on our own domain and reload the page, so Clarity stops straight away.

Cookies on another company's domain, like Microsoft's on clarity.ms or YouTube's after you play a video, are out of our reach. We stop them being set, but only your browser can clear ones already there.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to sign in.
