Questions

What is MyLiftTracker?

A simple workout log for your phone. You tap in your sets, and it keeps your history, your PRs and a chart for every exercise.

How long does it take to set up?

About a minute. Your account comes with nearly 90 common exercises and their variations (like barbell or dumbbell), so setting up is just picking the ones you do, saving them as a workout and starting it.

Do I need to download anything?

No. It runs in your browser. On an iPhone, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen, and it opens like a regular app.

How do I get an invite?

Sign-up needs an invite code for now. Request one on the Request an invite page, and you'll get an email with your code when you're in.

Does it work with dumbbells, machines and bodyweight moves?

Yes. Log plates per side or the full weight, and dumbbells as the weight of one dumbbell. Bodyweight sets and timed holds work too.

Is my workout data health data?

Some laws treat what you log — workouts, bodyweight, body fat — as consumer health data, so we wrote a Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy covering how it's handled: it's used only to run the app for you, it's never sold, and you can delete it. MyLiftTracker isn't a healthcare provider and your log isn't a medical record, so HIPAA doesn't apply to it. Keep medical details like diagnoses or medications out of your notes.

What if I lose signal at the gym?

A red banner lets you know. If a set doesn't save, it gets a retry button, so nothing goes missing without you seeing it.

Can I turn the sounds off?

Yes, in Settings.

What can Claude do if I connect it?

It can read your workouts, history and exercises, and it can create or change workouts and exercises. It has no way to delete anything, and you can disconnect it in Settings.
